테슬라 모델 Y, NHTSA 안전도 테스트에서 최고 등급 5 스타 획득(Tesla Model Y Gets Top 5 Star in NHTSA Crash Test)

 

NHTSA(미국 도로교통안전국)는 테슬라 모델 Y의 충돌 테스트 결과 최고등급인 5 스타를 부여했다고 13일 발표했습니다. 테슬라는 과거에도 모델3, 모델X, 모델S 모두 최고 안전 등급 5 스타를 부여 받았습니다.

 

이번 테스트의 내용으로는 테슬라 모델 Y의 전방과 측면 충돌 테스트에서 전열과 후열 모두 안전 등급 5 스타를 부여 받았으며 전복 위험 테스트에서 7.9%의 위험률을 기록하며 5 스타를 부여 받았습니다.

 

그리고 NHTSA는 모델 Y가 권장 안전 기술인 전방 충돌 경보, 자동 비상 제동, 차선 이탈 경고, 동적 브레이크 지원 등 4가지 기능을 표준으로 제공한다는 점에 높은 점수를 부여했다고 합니다.

 

테슬라는 전기차를 단지 겉모습만 그럴싸하게 만들어 내는게 아니라 안전성과 기술면에서도 우수성을 보여주고 있습니다.

 

NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) announced on the 13th that it has given Tesla Model Y a top five stars as a result of a crash test. Tesla has previously been given the highest safety rating of 5 stars for Model 3, Model X and Model S.

In this test, both the front and the rear rows of Tesla Model Y were awarded a safety grade of 5 stars in the front and side collision tests, and a risk rate of 7.9 percent in the rollover risk test was awarded 5 stars.

NHTSA has also given high marks for providing standard four features: forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and dynamic brake assistance, which are recommended safety technologies.

Tesla not only makes electric cars look good, but it also shows its superiority in safety and technology.
